Financial planning at the time of uncertainty
Because some friends missed the last seminar hosted by CCCA, I decide to conduct the same seminar again. Please note that the seminar will be conducted in English as there will be non-Chinese attendants.
The Canadian economy, especially Alberta’s economy is worrisome. Many have been laid off and many might be laid off in the near future. The stock markets are volatile and investors are indecisive. How do you deal with all this and how to prepare financially for unforeseen events in your life. This financial seminar will answer all these questions.
The seminar outlines: 1. What financial preparation do you need to do when you are still working? 2. When you have lost your job, you need to understand your company pension plan and the transfer options. You also need to understand your group benefit plan and the replacement options. Your mortgage repayment requirement and negotiation rooms. 3.The stock markets are volatile. You are worried about your investment. Are there safe investments available other than GIC?
Time: Nov. 26, 2015, 7 pm to 9 pm. Place: Investors Group office, 37 Richard Way SW. T3E 7M8
