on August 1st i took the road test for my driving license class 5.
in that afternoon i went to the test location with my friend and paid the examiner $100. as my friend told me the GDL license (basic road test) is the same as the non-probationary licence (advanced road test) to any insurance company.also the basic one is easier to pass so i planed to change my idea to take the basic test.while i noticed the examiner felt unsatisfied with my change. then i said to her "if you fell unhappy i just take the advanced test.that is ok for me." also i let her make a decision. at last she said "that's ok if you prefer to basic test".
in that case i said to her she may keep the change for my husband's advanced road test on the coming Saturday(that day was Tuesday).she wrote the receipt &45.00 for my basic test and the left for my husband's.also she told me if i cancel the appointment for my husband just call her soon.
unfortunately i failed the test so at that time i asked her whether i can take the test again on the coming saturday instead of my husband's test. she agreed and told me at 1:50pm on Saturday at the Foothill Driving School.
Wednesday is her off day. i am eager to renew my license as its expiry date is coming so i tred to find another examiner and passed my test on Thursday.once i got home i called her and said i have passed the test and plan to cancel the appointment on Sat as my husband is not good at English so it is difficult for him to take the advanced test and also it is dangerous if he misunderstands the examiner's instruction on highway.she got angry at that time and refused to refund me the change.she said i occupied her schedule and cancelled it maybe she missed someone who wants to take the test. i understand her case and promised to call her on the next day (on Friday) to make sure whether the time is booked by someone . if not my husband likes to gave up his advanced test to take the basic one as she told us some of her basic testers also can't understand english while they can do it.
on Friday i called her many times and i also left some pieces of message to her home phone and her page phone but there is no any response. i said on the message i have no idea whether the time is booked by someone ;also i got no any reply from her so i have no choice but keep my promise to the test location with my husband.
on the Saturday my husband and i checked the website it's said on 16th Ave there's road building so we decided to go there earlier. we got there at 12:10 !!! then at the driving school i tried to call her many times but failed to contact her.every time the phone is going off line once i spoke out my name.
i can't understand her behaviour. why does she treat me like that? just because i am from asian country? my skin is yellow color? i am a newcomer?!!!!!
